"Nothing and Everything is Possimpible!"
(This is going to be a very looooong post to cover up a few days of posts i sup-post) Im so tired, but i couldnt sleep. Im awake now since 1500H on Tuesday, yesterday. Many things were running thru my mind thus explains the i-cannot-sleep mode. Money, holiday, University, work, trying to set up a new business (which aint easy) and speeches just to name a few. Life's been good and bad and to be honest, its kinda fair. I've been watching How I Met Your Mother like almost everyday. Re-runs after reruns while waiting for the new ones to finish download. Ooops. Its just funny man, the whole comedy thing and how the producers make them to be. One-liners and witty quotes are just my kinda things. It keeps things fresh. Like you-just-go-to-the-wet-market-and-buy-fish kind of fresh. And Barney Stinsen is just the whole lotta Alpha Male with loads of issues. Kinda sometimes reminds me of me. Full of crap, yet still surviving. ![]() Barney Stinsen is the right-most character. Awesome dude. So many things to do and complete today, yet i've already used up 7hours and 35min of my 24hours for Wednesday today. Life aint gonna wait for you, cause thats just not what life does. It moves on and on and on. What ever you do, you just have to make the best out of it as life's never long to enjoy. I mean, you COULD live up to 100 but what the hell could you be doing when you're 80 years old? Its a different thing if you're Hugh Hefner lah, but seriously, we just dont have the luxury of time anymore. ~~~ In case you havent realised, FREEDOM ISNT FREE anymore. Either, you work hard for it or you could just dont get them. Yes yes, freedom is subjective, but given a choice, im sure many would want to classify their "freedom" as being able NOT to work and probably travel round the world (helping others or so is optional) seeing the many wonders of the world. And as for me, i reckon owning my own Lamborghini would be nice to add to my list of "What is Freedom to me?". Seeing the Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder so close to me yesterday night just kept me thinking and wondering and pondering if my friends will ever get to own one. Like you know we could ride down town in a convoy of Lambos and DAMN! it'll be a head turner. With all those "WARM! WARM!" engine sound, it's gonna be goooooooood for the chicken soup for the soul. Cause one thing's for sure, (and im sorry if im being such a bitch)... an 8-5pm kinda job will never get you one. It doesnt matter to me if you dont fancy a Lambo or so. Maybe you'd be contented with a Chery QQ i suppose. ~~~ Now, now, dont get me wrong here people. Im not superficial nor materialistic. Im not. Im just an average HDB-living kinda guy who dreams BIG, takes calculated risks, does things that most people dont and most importantly - dares to fail. My dreams may be laughed at, jeered upon, condemned and such, but seriously, if i dont get those responses, my dream is prolly not a dream. It'll be just like another typical average person's target-at-the-end-of-the-day. And like what Randy Pausch said in his presentation during The Oprah Show lemme quote: "The brick walls are not there to keep us out. The brick walls are there to give us a chance to show how badly we want something. Because the brick walls are there to stop the people who don’t want it badly enough.". - Randy Pausch, Author of The Last Lecture ![]() And when someday i make it, which i would, i've really gotta thank my brick walls for making me want to achieve my dreams badly. Without them, i'd prolly end up... just like another brick wall. Off to send my mom to work then off for breakfast, Bil |
