"We should live like ants."

I got nature-inspired. I just watched an "earth vision" documentary on Okto, and it was bout life in the underground. Well, basically, its about ants. Those tiny, puny you-step-on-it creatures. Yeah, those things, those ants. Dont we ever hate them when they bunch up together like grapes and start marching towards your food? I'd always wished i had a mini-portable flame-thrower and burnt those cracker nuts into ashes. Woohoo! Yeah, especially those fat BIG ones. How they pop (the glock)!

Anyways, this post isnt anything about How To Kill Ants or Ants Suck or is it some Kill The Ants Campaign. Its about Love Thy Ants. Ants aren't really pest you know. The way they work as a colony, the way they run as indivduals, the way they put in their effort and the way they just are, its just AMAZING. Have you seen how intricate thier Ant Hills/Tunnels are? Its so mind-boggling smart for them to build such structures so BIG and BIGGER than us! Its just so heart-warming amazing??!! It took my breath away really seeing how these ants live.

We take for granted and step on these help-less creatures when they "infringe" our territory. We take for granted and kill these innocent creatures when they come near our food. Ants are like the basic living creatures that make the grass grow, give life to the earth. In which we need those other life forms to live. We should not kill ants, even if they are irritating. We should learn to appreciate what they have done and is still doing for us.

We should love thy ants.
