"The Bunch of grapes"

Was in the company office with some of my friends playing Winning Eleven when a recruit came in to look for my other Sergeant friend. He kinda disturbed my concentration with his stupid approach actually.

Recruit: "Sgt, i'm looking for Sgt So-And-So. The whole BUNCH of us is waiting outside."

Me: "So what are you guys? Grapes? A bunch of grapes right?"

He laughed, i gave the serious look, he left. Then we laughed. Idiot. Could have used words such as "group" but decided to use "bunch". I sometimes wonder, if its the camp water that is contaminating our minds...
