    "We are the Triangular 'Racing' Team!"

    That was Faizal saying that we look like a racing team because we all had P Plates ion our bikes. Its a motor joke. You wouldnt understand.Let me sum of the things that happened yesterday, 120708, a day i would like to call - Days of My Life ala Days Of Ours Lives the soap opera. Only mine isnt as sappy as the TV series.

    ~~~
    The day started of fantabulously great. Went o Bukit Merah collected my bike and drove off to Lavender to a bike workshop where Farhan got his bike serviced and yada yada add modification and stuffs. It was cool riding on the road on the expressway and squeezed in between cars at traffic junctions. (Its dangerous i know) Usually, i'll be on a bus and getting stuck at long traffic queues isnt great let alone much fun having to stand up for long hours.
    at the workshop
    it aint much, but its still something
    ~~~

    Then in the afternoon, the plan was to head down to my place and get our bikes washed. But apparently, sometimes life doesnt go according to plan and from the BKE exit to Dairy farm road, at the bend, i misjudged my speed and in my kanchiong-ness, i applied the rear brake too hard and i swerved left to right. I did try to steer in back on course but by then the bike hit the barrier on its right side. I kinda half flew into the bushes by the side of the road.

    Fish-tailed! (rough drawing here)

    earliest photo taken after accident

    my chlorophyll stained pants and shoes

    Had my right arm stuffed all the way into the bushes to prevent me from going into it. Yes, my bare naked arm was covered in scratches due to the sharp small branches in the hedges. It was bleeding and i looked like cock with half of my body lying on top of the hedges.

    i let the cat out of the bag

    oh my gash!

    came back from war-torn Narnia

    It was like slow-mo i could see it all coming slow motionly and it was funny. I laughed when i pushed myself out of the hedge. I think it was the adrenaline that got into my head which made me go crazy at that instant. I DID feel pain but i limped off to the side trying to gain back my composure. So yada yada, we got my bike rolling once again and we rode to NUH. Nearest hospital that we could think of. Spent 3 hours from registration to being discharged. Got an X-Ray taken of my hand and everything's A-OK y'all!

    I guess after falling off the bike, made me a MUCH MUCH MUCH more careful and lovable rider.

    ~~~
    Adam, Farhan, Tey were all there at NUH. Adam rushed back from work just to see me. I felt bad. Thanks Dam for coming down despite the work that you have. Met up with Faizal at SP before we headed to ECP for supper. Then we rode to Changi beach to just lie down and look at planes. Next stop was Portsdown road where the road is really winding down left right left right.... Its like Motor GP, only much dangerous cause we cant see the blind spot. Luckily its night so no cars no buses, no bikes around.
    The Triangle Racing Team
    tried hard to act Mat
    after long rides, we rest
    Had 2nd supper at Cheese Prata shop before we all headed home our own ways. The night ride adventure was real fun. I learnt more about my bike, the roads and the people around me. Riding is fun. If only people care to understand the road safety that has been implemented.
