"If you want good, you must fail."
After finishing the TP today, i sat at the classroom waiting for the results to be announced. TP after TP came in to call out the number tags of those who fail in their detail. My TP guy was the last to come in and the guys in my detail were all so freaking nervous. My head kept throbbing and spinning round and round. Getting a headache real soon - just like getting O & A levels results. You know your mistakes and at the same time you ponder whether you've done any additional mistakes. Excruciating? Yes. Thinking back during the Slalom course, i felt like i kinda brush the last cone before moving off to E-Brake. Not too sure though. will have to wait to find out... Then, my TP came in. First number he called, was mine. My heart dropped. Ikram sitting beside me was smiling. Bitch. Felt shitty going up there to take the slip of paper stating that you failed. And my worst nightmare came true - i DID hit the last cone, making it an immediate failure of course. WHAT THE HECK! Anyways, i got 22 points 4 more points than the required 18 to pass. Best part is that i got "ticked" for "Poor acceleration" and "Revving too much up the slope". I never had such things before while doing the courses and mock tests. To be honest, my bike sucked. And me being stupid just decided to take it no questions asked. Dumb move. Costing dumber results. Oh well, past is past and now i'll have to check my training schedule to see which dates i'm free to blow another 100 bucks on practice (which is a must) and the TP test itself. I guess, i'll be spending a total of 950 bucks on my bike license. Thats close to 1K. No wonder i'm getting broke. Now getting a headache from all the rush of blood to the head waiting for my result this morning. All's well end's well, Legend |
