"They aint callin' me a snipr fer nuthin'!"
I'm practically so bored these past few days that i felt that sleeping was THE gateway to self-enjoyment. I slept often here and there and slept after eating. Slept before eating. I was worse than sleeping beauty i tell you. I guess that explains my ever diminishing abs (of steel) that was once the envy of many alpha males and the cravings of every ice-cream lover chicks. But now, nooooo, its rapidly going gone just like the Earth's rainforest. ~~~ Alrightt... fitness wise aside, Saturday i had my motor bike practical lesson as well as my theory evaluation "test". For the latter, i failed by 1%. I got 89% just 1 short of the passing mark. That sucks. Seriously, i know nuts about the "highway" code rules like straight lines, double yellow lines etc etc. You know what i'm talking about. Guess i lost marks on that section. Dammit. Anyways, the 2nd prac that i went to was really damn un-nerving. I had to go up to gear 3 and then back down to gear 1 to stop. I kept kicking down the gear but when i stopped, the Instructor said i still had a gear left. I was like WTF?! It wasnt once or twice that it happened but many times. Failure was imminent. I could honestly smell it. But, fat lady luck was on my side, and *phew* i passed. It was a relieve to me cause knowing that i didnt need to pay for another lesson again. Waste of money. Just do it good, learn fast and BINGO! You'reon your way to Practical Lesson 1.03. This time, its up gear to gear 5. :) Next Saturday babe. Next Saturday. ~~~ Guess what? I cant believe that i slept at 0400H yesterday night. After book in, thought i would want to do a little exercises here and there just to keep me body in tip top condition. But i was diverted to a noise below the stairs. No its not a ghost story but its just my friends who were sitting there smoking in one corner. Yes, our smoking point is below the stairs. Style kaper?! Anyways, we chatted and shared Tekong ghost stories. Chatted again, we talked about Singapore and M'sia ghost stories. Then it was Overseas ghost stories. Then somehow, we started talking about bikes. Ok, i was the noob one around them. They were the old birds in motor bikes so i just sat there and listen to their "expeditions" on bikes with girls, gang and other bikers. It was exciting. As much as i want to get my bike fast, i wanted to learn it properly before doing what they did. Gilera, Kap Chai, Vespa. Those were the few choices of bikes that i so called had interest for. I had wanted a Vespa at first, but my dad wanted me to get a Kap Chai, saying that its "Auto". After listening here and there, i felt like the Gilera bike sounded cool too. Cool it is, but i havent really tried it. So err... I'll see to that on laters. ~~~ Long post, i know but this is the last part. I calculated i would need around $5800 in total until May 2009 to sustain my needs and wants badly. For eg: My need to get a motor license. My need to get a good bike after getting my licese. My wanting to get my hands on a good but cheap DSLR camera cause i love taking photos. And of course, my wanting to back pack around several European countries. Thats da bomb so far. :) The travelling mistrel, Legend |
