"Its for people like you that keep me going on"

3 things i want to blog today. Just 3 things. First and foremost, today, 13th January 2008 marks 1 year of national service that i have served. Just 10 more months to go and then its off to work, hard core gym, get a motor license and then back to study. Doesnt time past very fast? Still remember the days when i first enlisted and had to "give away" my Pinky IC for a green one that comes with a fierce face. Farce man. I remember seeing faces on some chinese dude whos like so scared and not wanting to be enlisted. Thats like shitty man. Only know how to work and study. But cannot serve the nation even after overpopulating our land. Like what the hell?!

Ok, yesterday was so-called PAY DAY. Well, one of the days in which my measly pay was supposed to come into my bank account. Anyways, the thing is i bought 4 VCDs on impulse because i think they're good and cheap. 4 VCDs for $23.90?! Thats like night time robbery! I bought Accepted, Blades Of Glory, Secret and Hot Fuzz. Yes, i know that nowadays movies can be downloaded and all, but maybe its time to go a little legal at times. At least i can bring them back to camp wand watch it when im bored aye?

Yesterday, after completing my enlistment duty. Wait. Ok, lets talk about THE duty first. Supposed to be at the RV point at 0645H. But i woke up at 0630 and slowly made my way there. Why? Because, like a lot of organizations, they are so freaking KAN-CHIONG SPIDER. And guess what? I'm right on the dot. The thing starts at 0800H and we had to come so early just to be briefed for like 5 min. !@#$%^&*! Ok, we were supposed to end at 1030 max. But ended up doing a lil bit of shit work to cover up some places and we left at 1130H. Hey! Over time is over time!

Ok, back to the topic. What made my day was - ok you may call it a cheap thrill - but was the fact that we managed to see quite a number of hot chicks. Be it the recruits' sister, girlfriend or friend. One stood out for me. She was hot. Really had those puppy dog eyes and that nice smile with a dimple to the cheek. Aww... man. She's like the firecracker on my shelf i tell you! (quote from fahmi) That. Was one hell of a cutie cream pie i tell you.

The other thing that made my day was meeting up with my ex-PC from Delta company back in SISPEC. We chatted and talked about the old times and the present state of delta. Guess what? Some of the batches after mine actually got to sit on a helicopter and do the heli drop thing. Shitty man. Lucky ass. But of course, their course is really really much worse than mine having back to back missions in 4 days. Anyways, the thing is he told me of some things that i felt touched and just motivated even more than ever to give my best. He gave me support and encouragement indirectly. It felt great knowing that there's some people out there who still believes in you. It was because of him that i could have gotten into OCS if it wasnt for some security issues that i myself did not know of. Probably the best PC i ever had and ever will.
