    Movie Review: V For Vendetta

    Ideas are bulletproof.

This movie is every anarchist favourite movie i would say. Its about a rebel against the government because of what the government did to him in the past. V, as the rebel is known, goes out on the streets of London protecting civillians that get "harassed" the govt officials a.k.a policeman. The best thing is that this one man army can actually take down a section sized of police officers and even a few detectives before making his getaway. Its just woah.

Anyway, I just don't really know what to say about this movie. Its just great to watch but of course don't get inspired to carry out the acts that V did. This is Singapore my friend, ain't no some other city that you can just wear a really really cool mask (that i'm still looking for) and go around destroying capital buildings and such. You'll get caught and jailed, caned and then hanged. Wait. You can't get jail term and the gallows together. Ok, so maybe you'll get either one when you get caught.

The only part of the movie that i don't quite like is that this movie has such great complexity of twists and turns that if you don't really watch it 100%, you can get quite lost and start annoying your friend with all the "who, what, why, when, which, and how" questions.

Conclusion: A great action and inspiring movie that will make you wish you could do the same. Maybe this time the person will call himself E, for ERP or even G for GST... Whatever it is, go and catch this movie before you die. Its superb. I give it 4.5 pine-apples! And like what V said, "People should not be afraid of their governments. Governments should be afraid of their people." Go watch it.
