Movie Review: Die Hard 4.0


So Bruce Willis came back to the BIG screen to make a bang. And hell lot of bang did he make. Die Hard 4.0 is a far cry from the the previous Die Hards. It has more action and much more people involved and getting killed. Dont know if thats a good point to state tho. ANYWAYS... Die Hard 4.0 revolves around this handsome computer geek, as i would call him, who goes on to destroy America not through bombs and ka-booms but more of shutting the whole of America down with technology. Now don't you go signing up classes on hacking cause, it'll just wont do you good. This character computer genius is the real deal (supposedly in this movie) He could hack into the National Security whatever using just a laptop. Imagine that! Bet you couldnt even hack into your email account when you lose your password...

Back on track, this Die Hard is about Technological Terrorist trying to shut down America. Get it?! Shut Down? Ok, hope u got the pun there. This movie doesn't have suspense or MUCH comedy in it. Its just pure action and some kick-ass scenes. Awesome! Maggie Q was the real deal in terms of the babes in the movie but sadly guys, she's on the bad side. And we all do know what happens to the bad guys in all John McClane (Bruce Willis character) movies dont we? But seriously, Maggie Q sure kick some serious butt in her fight scene and damn she's so hard to kill. Guess, she's really DEAD sexy in that tight FBI suit of hers...

Internet hackers + a mastermind (a estranged colleague) + one crazy ass beetch and many many evil henchman + one hero (make that 2) = one hell of a of crowd.The cinematic visuals and CGIs were outstanding. The F-35 jet pursuing the trailer was one of my favourite scenes. It was just pure madness and kick ass man.

The only part i would say that i didnt quite agree with the show is the fact that 1 guy could actually screw the whole country. Shutting down its Traffic, financial hubs, creating anthrax scares and fiching off billions of dollars from America is just way too much man. America cant be THAT bodoh right? And i realised that this time, the bad guy is an American himself. Not some Russian dude or other foreign terrorist. Yeah, when the part where the terrorist is one hell of a genius, they just have to give the role to an American. Cool eh? Why can't it be some Arab man or heck, some Chinese chick? You see... here's the biasedness part.

Conclusion: This movie kicks-ass. You've gotta watch it if not i'll kick your ass. I give it 4 pine-apples dooood.... Yipee Ki Yay!
