"It cant get any worse can it?"
Ok. Im really running short of precious time here. So im gonna make it short and sweet and simple. Today i went to vivo to meet up with my JC classmates a.k.a class reunion. Went for lunch at NK and watched movie. They chose the movie "Nancy Drew" (if you havent know) without even consulting the cine-expert - ME! Really. Plan was to watch Fantastic 4 or Nancy Drew. Obviously the latter sucked (and i've got a review to prove it) But shit happens and they bought the latter anyways. So they bought the all-time expensive movie ticket price of $9.50 (ouch!). That really made my 50 into a 40 in a jiffy. What got me rather pissed was that the comedy movie Hot Fuzz was playing too and they didnt know so they didnt ask what movie it was. Seriously, i'd rather watch HotFuzz than some young-teenage flick.
After movie, i went off to the mrt station to go to Bugis to meet up with my NS buddies to makan dinner. But shit happens again and so i had to make the choice of going ahead with my JC friends. So i dragged my ass back up to the 3rd level of vivo and caught up with them. Planned to eat at Swensens but THEY couldnt find it, even after looking at he directory. Funny, cause i know theres a Swenssen somewhere in vivo. But NO, they didnt consult the guru and went to Habour Front instead to search for it. In the end we ended up eating at Breeks (that eeks) which cost us a lot more and the serving of the food is so small. I paid $12.90 for a tiny chicken chop. For $10.90 one can get the Mega Burger at Swensens. Damn filling that stuff is.
Its not over. What got me even more pissed is that after looking at the paper directory they brought along, i realized that the vivo (buto) management put "Swensens" as "Earl Swensens"
so thats why when my friends saw no S-w-e-n-s-e-n-s under the "S" column under Food&Beverages they assumed there was any Swensens. So happened i was damn pissed that even the radio was playing Daniel Powter's Bad Day. Probably just for me.
I spent a lot on a trip that was supposed to be chill and fun and get together. Probably i spent 50+. This is shit. Im running low on resources. 3-digit in my bank savings? No can do.
